Syco Machinery was established in 1966 as agents for Matra and Hunger engine reconditioning equipment. In 1966 the first HOFMANN wheel balancing machine had been imported and the contract with HOFMANN as sole importer/distributor for South Africa was signed in 1967.

After 40 years Syco Machinery is the sole distributor for HOFMANN workshop equipment and HUNGER brake Service machines. Over time other product lines have been added which include GS/BOXER wheel service equipment and

PEAK lifting equipment. A further milestone was the introduction of the TECHNOBRAKE range of vehicle roadworthy test equipment in the late 1990's.

OUR STORY

The company operates from the head office in Johannesburg with branches in Cape Town and Durban.

Unlike most other equipment suppliers Syco does not outsouce the the service and repair function but has qualified service technicians

who service and maintain the equipment countrywide ensuring the best service possible.

A comprehensive range of spare parts is stocked for the entire range of equipment.

HISTORY

As one of the longest standing equipment suppliers in South Africa our equipment has and still is been used by a large number

of companies/groups plus a large number of independent tyre fitment centres and garages.
